The City of Pico Rivera is looking for volunteers to participate in a one-night census and survey of homeless people within the community. The effort is part of the Los Angeles County Homeless Services’ Authority 2025 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count.

The Homeless Count census, which involves a visual count of all unsheltered individuals within Pico Rivera, will take place on Tuesday, January 29th. On that night, volunteers will be assigned to canvas a section of the City to count the number of homeless people they observe.

The data collected will provide stakeholders with a better understanding of the area’s homeless community and could help bring additional resources to our region.

If you would like to volunteer, visit the Authority’s website at https://count.lahsa.org
