The City is excited to announce it is partnering with Tesla to provide affordable and accessible solar + battery systems to Pico Rivera residents!
Through this program, Pico Rivera Innovative Municipal Energy (PRIME) customers will be able to install Tesla rooftop Solar and Powerwall Battery with:
» No Upfront Costs – No down payment.
» No Credit Check – Every PRIME customer qualifies.
» No Maintenance Costs – Systems are maintained by Tesla, including equipment replacement.
» Low Monthly Payments – $115 per month + energy consumption.
» Low and Stable Rates for 25 Years – approximately $0.14 per kWh with a 1.9% annual escalator.
PRIME will continue to be the power provider, and the customer and participant will continue receiving one monthly bill – the same way they do now.
