Sister City Commission

The purpose and function of the Sister City Commission is to serve as an advisory commission to the City Council on all matters relating to the fostering of a greater global understanding of other cultures and international friendship for and by the citizens of Pico Rivera. This commission shall hold at least one regular meeting per month.
As an advisory agency the Sister City Commission shall have the following duties and responsibilities:

City of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, Mexico, since 2022
City of Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico, since 2024

Solar Panel Permits with SolarAPP+
Residential homeowners and solar panel installation contractors in Pico Rivera are now able to apply for permits online with the help of SolarAPP+, a web-based portal for residential solar energy system installations, developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to automate project plan reviews, receive automated permit, pay fees online, and schedule inspections.
