The City’s Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the YMCA, will be offering an overnight camping excursion for youth ages 11 to 17 as part of the Rio Hondo Park Nature Program.

Young adventure seekers are invited to participate in this unforgettable camping trip to Camp Arbolado in the San Bernadino National Forest from Saturday, November 23 through Monday, November 25. This exciting excursion is perfect for youth who are ready to explore the great outdoors, make new friends, and create lasting memories. Highlights include a comfortable cabin stay, outdoor activities, team-building games, and nature education.

This trip is free and open to Pico Rivera residents only. Registration is now open ONLINE at picoriveraca.myrec.com. A parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Pico Rivera Youth Center.
