Local Programs
Both the Pico Rivera Library, located at 9001 Mines Avenue, and the Rivera Library, located at 7828 Serapis, will be offering fun and exciting programs throughout the months of April and May for all ages. All programs are free. Sign-ups for the 2025 Summer Stars tutoring program at the Pico Rivera Library will begin in May 2025. Community Resources
As a reminder, residents can pick up free COVID-19 tests and free N95 masks at the Pico Rivera Library and at the Rivera Library while supplies last. Thanks to the ongoing collaboration with Baby2Baby, the Pico Rivera Library has free diapers sizes 1-6 available for pick-up.
State Park
With Spring break just around the corner, visiting a local California State Park just got easier with the State’s Library Park Pass. Both the Pico Rivera Library and the Rivera Library have California State Library Parks Passes available for check-out. These day passes provide free vehicle day-use entry to over 200 participating state parks operated by the state to adult library card holders. EV Charging Station at the Pico Rivera Library
The Pico Rivera Library not only has books, they also have 10 electric vehicle charging stations with PowerFlex chargers now available at Pico Rivera Library parking lot. PowerFlex chargers require that you use a smartphone app. Users can download this easy-to-use app to their smartphone and add funds to the mobile wallet using a credit card. The app automatically calculates the necessary plug-in duration and cost to acquire the user’s desired charge level. Please contact the Pico Rivera Library if you have any questions.
