Our Stories: Life Story Writing Class

Over the last few decades, stories have been collected by Seniors who participated in the Senior Center’s Writing Class. Since the writing class was formed in 1989, groups of seniors have met every Tuesday to write down their thoughts or to preserve their recollections as they share stories about their life experiences and adventures.

Recently, the City’s Department of Parks and Recreation compiled all the participants’ stories and designed a book to share with the Pico Rivera Community. The Senior Center will be hosting a book signing and sale on Tuesday, September 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Books will be available for $5 each.
