Pico Rivera residents are invited to meet with their neighbors, Sheriff’s deputies and local officials during the National Night Out on Tuesday, August 9 at the Pico Rivera Sheriff’s Station, 6631 Passons Boulevard.
The annual event will begin at 5:30 and will include live music and entertainment, inflatable attractions, food, and the opportunity to see law enforcement and fire vehicles up close. In addition, special information will be provided by the Sherriff’s Department on how residents can help prevent crime in their neighborhoods and around the City.
National Night Out is designed to fight crime by building community partnerships. Effective crime fighting requires that everyone in the community – from law enforcement to residents – take an active role in keeping neighborhoods safe.
Pico Rivera’s National Night Out is free and organized by the City and the Pico Rivera Sheriff’s Station. For more information, call the Station at 562. 949.2421.
