Library Adds Vehicle Charging Stations

The Pico Rivera Library not only has books but also has electric chargers for residents and visitors to charge their electric vehicles.

During the Summer, 10 electric vehicle charging stations with PowerFlex chargers were installed in the main parking lot and are now available for use. PowerFlex chargers require the use of a smartphone app that users can easily download on their mobile devices. This easy-to-use app will allow customers to add funds to the mobile wallet using a credit card. The app will automatically calculate the necessary plug-in duration and cost based on the user’s desired charge level.
