Compensated Appointments (FPPC Form 806)
The State of California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) Regulation 18705.5 requires city councils making appointments of council members to compensated non-City positions to approve and post a report regarding the appointments on the City’s website. The FPPC’s report is called Form 806, Agency Report of Public Official Appointments. Below is a link to the City’s current Form 806.
Government Code Section 87200
The City Council Members are elected officers identified in Government Code Section 87200 and file statements of economic interests with the City Clerk’s office. Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the above-elected officers may be obtained by visiting the offices of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) or the City Clerk. The statements of economic interests for some state and local government agency elected officers may be available in electronic format on the FPPC’s website at www.fppc.ca.gov.
