The City of Pico Rivera will conduct a General Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for three positions on the City Council for a full four-year term.
The nomination period for interested candidates will be open from Monday, July 15, 2024, to Friday, August 9, 2024, 5:00 p.m. Candidates must be a Pico Rivera resident and a registered voter in Pico Rivera. A $25 fee is required to file the nomination papers, together with additional costs for the printing of candidate statements on the sample ballot.
Nomination packets, which are included with the official Candidate’s Handbook, are available at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 6615 Passons Boulevard, by appointment only, beginning July 15, 2024. All required documents must be officially filed with the City Clerk’s Office, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024.
If an incumbent Council Member fails to file by the August 9 deadline, the final deadline will be extended through Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
