Out of respect for those visiting the Mobile Vietnam Memorial Wall, and to create a quiet and solemn atmosphere, the following amenities will NOT be available at Smith Park beginning on Thursday, May 23 through Tuesday, May 28:
– All sports fields including the football stadium
– Picnic areas including picnic shelters
– Skate park
– Playgrounds
– All general recreational areas
The walking paths will remain open. For those that use them, we ask that you please refrain from playing any music or engage in loud conversations.
