The El Rancho Unified School District offers a variety of specialized programs, as well as a multitude of opportunities for students. Families who want their children to attend a school within the El Rancho Unified School District other than their neighborhood school must complete the School of Choice Process. Space is limited at each school site and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please visit the District’s website at ERUSD.org and select the Department of Student Services to find the 2024-2025 School of Choice Application. Families interested in attending the STEAM Academy @ Burke must apply directly at the school site. The STEAM Academy application is located on their website at STEAM.ERUSD.org.

TK/Kindergarten Roundup
Parents wishing to enroll their children into Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten grade levels in the El Rancho Unified School District will have the opportunity as the District prepares to launch their “TK and Kindergarten 2024-25 Roundup.”
All El Rancho Unified School District elementary schools will be available for registration beginning Tuesday, February 20. On-going registration will be available from 9:00a.m to 11:00a.m. and 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.
Transitional Kindergarten – Children who will turn 5 years old with birthdays between September 2 and April 1.
Kindergarten – Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1.
