The 2024-2025 school year will kick off on Thursday, August 15 when schools will welcome students back from the summer break. Below are some important dates for the upcoming school year:
Labor Day – Monday, September 2
Staff Development Day (No School) – Friday, October 4
Veterans’ Day – Monday, November 11
Thanksgiving Break – Monday, November 25 – Friday, November 29
Winter Recess – Monday, December 23 – Friday, January 10
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – Monday, January 20
Lincoln’s Day – Monday, February 10
President’s Day – Monday, February 17
Staff Development Day (No School) – Monday, March 10
Spring Recess – Monday, March 24 – Friday, March 28
Cesar Chavez Day – Monday, March 31
Memorial Day – Monday, May 26
The final day of classes for the 2024/2025 school year is Tuesday, June 10.

CONGRATULATIONS TO….The 460 students who graduated from El Rancho High School, the 115 students who graduated from Salazar High School, the 541 Middle School Students who have promoted to High School, and the 663 Fifth Graders moving on to Middle School. El Rancho Adult School Moving
The El Rancho Adult School, located off of Passons Boulevard and Haney Street, will be moving to a bigger campus this Summer. It will now be located at 8110 Paramount Boulevard. The new location will enable the School to continue to grow to meet the needs of local students. Fall registration opens on Monday, July 29, and classes will begin on Monday, August 19.
