Bond Construction Work Continues at Middle Schools El Rancho Unified School District’s Bond Construction work continues on the locker buildings at the three District middle
schools, despite pandemic worker and supply chain shortages.
The Locker Buildings at North Park, Rivera, and STEAM are currently undergoing interior renovations and utility upgrades. Work is scheduled to be completed in Summer 2022. With the exception of new windows and HVAC equipment, all work was performed within the interior of these buildings.
The project includes structural upgrades, new interior finishes, new lockers, new air conditioning, new water heaters, new plumbing fixtures installed, wall and ceiling insulation, and new lighting. The floor plans will be reconfigured to create team rooms with large screen monitors to support instruction during inclement weather and after-school sports. Along with these improvements, lead paint and asbestos were removed, and the buildings were brought into compliance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA).

CONGRATULATIONS…
To the El Rancho High School Academic Decathlon Team! They placed 7th out of 52 total teams in what could be considered one of California’s most challenging County competitions. The Varsity Team moved on to compete in the California State Academic Decathlon, where they placed 9th out 20 schools. The Junior Varsity Team placed 2nd amongst all JV teams in the County and moved on to compete in the second annual California Academic Heptathlon. Overall a successful year for all of the Academic Decathletes!
