University of La Verne Paves Way to Admission for Students

Last month, the El Rancho Unified School District and the University of La Verne signed an agreement that will benefit students of the El Rancho Unified School District for many years to come. This new partnership, established to facilitate the seamless enrollment of El Rancho High School graduates into the University of La Verne, marks a pivotal step in enhancing educational opportunities and supporting students in their transition to higher education.

The agreement paves the way for El Rancho Students to attend college with a guaranteed admission to the University of La Verne upon meeting admission criteria. In addition, La Verne will provide students with workshops focused on financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

This partnership is a testament to the shared commitment of El Rancho Unified School District and the University of La Verne to the educational and personal development of local students. By providing a clear and supportive pathway from high school to college, this agreement ensures that El Rancho High School graduates are well-equipped to succeed in their higher education pursuits.

Sports Facilities to Open

The El Rancho Unified School District invites the community to come out and celebrate the Grand Opening of Don Memorial Stadium, the Sports Field Complex, and Aquatics Center at El Rancho High School on Monday, April 21. The Ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m., public will be allowed in at 4:30 p.m. El Rancho High School is located at 6501 Passons Boulevard.

The El Rancho School Police Department is proud to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month by selling custom police lapel pins in honor of autism acceptance. These special edition pins are available for $10, with all proceeds directly benefiting autism-focused classes within the El Rancho Unified School District.

In addition to this year’s lapel pins, the El Rancho School Police still have autism awareness patches from previous years available for purchase. Join us in supporting this important cause and helping create a more inclusive learning environment for our students!
