It was a pleasure to meet all the new faces at the recent City Events: The Bell Dedication Ceremony, the Young Ladies Empowerment Conference, and the Roldan Family Mini-Pitch Dedication, not to mention, the Pico Rivera Station activities: the Villa Nova Neighborhood Watch meeting and the Coffee with a Cop at Panera Bread. Every time I meet one of you, I learn more about this amazing city. Thank you to all who have welcomed me!
SAFETY TIP: Summer is just about upon us, which is bringing those much loved warm summer nights. Many of us like to crack open the windows to allow the cool evening breezes to cool down our homes. Make sure to PROTECT your homes and your valuables! Don’t leave windows open when you’re not home. Set up your neighborhood watch groups to look out for each other. If you see something, say something. If your neighborhood would like the Sheriff’s Department to attend a neighborhood watch meeting, contact the Pico Sheriff’s Community Relations Office at 562.949-2421, x5559. We look forward to partnering with you!

As always, any thoughts or ideas, I would love to hear from you. Til we meet, Stay Safe.
