Be a Responsible Pet Owner

April is Responsible Pet Ownership Month, and the City of Pico Rivera is kicking off a fun and educational campaign to promote responsible pet care. The “Leash Up! Clean Up!” initiative encourages pet owners to leash their dogs at our local parks and clean up after them to keep our community clean and safe.

Starting in April, pet owners who show staff a photo of themselves with their leashed dog at one of our parks will receive a FREE doggie bag dispenser to help with cleanup. We also encourage you to share your photos on social media using the hashtag #LeashUpCleanUpPR to spread the word and inspire others to join in.
