Healing Kits Offered
The healing journey after a traumatic event can be challenging. Developed in collaboration with LA County Department of Mental Health and the California Mental Health Services Act with content created and inspired by The Healing Library, the Los Angeles County Library is circulating Healing Library Kits which provide evidence-based materials that can support families navigating difficult experiences like separation, divorce, and the death of a pet.
Each Healing Library Kit includes books and resource guides, including discussion topics and suggestions for activities intended to make the healing process more accessible and less overwhelming.
Healing Kits are available for checkout with a valid Los Angeles County Library Card at both libraries in Pico Rivera.

Upcoming Closures
Both libraries in Pico Rivera will be closed on Thursday, March 6 for Staff Development Day. The Rivera Library will be closed on Monday, March 31 for Cesar Chavez Day.
