Winter Campers Thank Firefighters

Spreading cheer and support comes naturally to children, and our Winter Camp participants demonstrated just that. These young campers took time to show gratitude to our local firefighters, many of whom have worked tirelessly battling the recent wildfires across Southern California. Beyond their heroic efforts during wildfires, our firefighters are always there, protecting and assisting City residents in times of need. To express their heartfelt appreciation, the Winter Campers created thank-you cards and packaged goodies, which they sent to the brave teams at Fire Stations 25, 40, and 103. Their thoughtful gesture brought smiles and warmth to the firefighters who continuously dedicate themselves to our community.

How's This for a Special Homecoming?

How’s this for a special homecoming? Scott Pilon is a Firefighter for Snohomish County in Washington. He was a part of a crew that came down to help local firefighters with the wildfires. During a 24-hour break, Scott decided to drive to the City of Pico Rivera, where he was raised, and made a special visit with his grandmother Socorro and uncle Mario.
Thank You, Scott, for all you do, especially here in Southern California!
