El Rancho High School Academic Decathlon Team Secures 5th Place in State Competition
El Rancho High School is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of its Decathlon Team in the recently concluded State Competition. The team has secured 5th place, marking a remarkable accomplishment in the fiercely competitive academic arena.
Despite facing tough challenges and rigorous academic tasks, the El Rancho High School students demonstrated exceptional intellect, dedication, and teamwork throughout the competition. Their commitment to excellence and relentless pursuit of academic prowess have rightfully earned them this prestigious accolade.
The Decathlon Team, comprising some of the brightest minds in the school, showcased their proficiency across various subjects, including mathematics, science, literature, social science, and art. Their comprehensive knowledge and critical thinking abilities were put to the test, and they rose to the occasion with exceptional poise and determination.

El Rancho High School Hall of Fame 2024 Nomination Window is Open
El Rancho High School is seeking nominees who have gained local, statewide, or national recognition in any area of endeavor as an alumnus of the school for consideration to the El Rancho Hall of Fame.
Nominees must have graduated at least 15 years ago from El Rancho High School. Applications may be accessed from the school’s website at https://www.erusd.k12.ca.us/elrancho/. The nomination period ends on Thursday, August 1.

El Rancho Adult School Moving
The El Rancho Adult School, located off of Passons Boulevard and Haney Street will be moving to a bigger campus this Summer. The Adult School will now be located at 8110 Paramount Boulevard. The new location will enable the Adult School to continue to grow to meet the needs of local students.

Reunion Planned for Class of 1974
El Rancho High School alumni who graduated in 1974 are encouraged to attend the 50- year class reunion on Saturday, September 28 at the Embassy Suites, 900 East Birch Street in Brea.
The evening will be a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and classmates. Tickets are $90 per person.
