Paint to Create at the Senior Center
Seniors aged 50 years and older are invited to a fun afternoon of painting at the Senior Center with the Paint to Create program on Tuesday, April 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Painters will be able to create their very own Spring themed masterpiece with step-by-step instructions by a local artist. Canvas and painting supplies will be provided. Class will also include snacks and drinks.
The fee for this program is $20 per person. Registration will be accepted at the Senior Center, all park sites or online at picoriveraca.myrec.com

ZumDance Fitness Offered at Smith Park for Seniors
A new dance fitness craze is here to helps seniors stay fit. ZumDance Fitness for Seniors aged 50 years and over is a new fitness class that help Seniors get in shape while working out to their favorite music. Participants will be able to dance along with easy-to follow dance moves with explanations at the start of the class. This class is perfect for both beginners and advanced participants.
ZumDance Fitness is offered at Smith Park on Thursday mornings, April 4 through April 25, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. for a fee of $30. Register online at picoriveraca.myrec.com

Tai Chi for Seniors
Seniors who wish to start the morning with a relaxing exercise program can look no further than Smith Park. Tai Chi for seniors aged 50 and over, will provide an exercise activity that is practiced as a slow-moving meditation. Tai Chi offers benefits such as stress reduction, as well as improvements in balance, mobility, and focus.
Tai Chi for Seniors is offered on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The next session will be from April 23 through May 14 for a fee of $35.
