The Pico Rivera Library and the Rivera Library will participate in the Los Angeles County Library’s Summer Discovery Program (SDP). This program is the County Library’s summer celebration of reading and exploration. From June 1 to August 13, readers of all ages can read and complete activities, earn badges, and be entered to win prizes. Readers can participate online via Beanstack (LACountyLibrary.org/Summer-Discovery) by creating an account and registering for the SDP Challenge or in-person at the Pico Rivera Library or the Rivera Library.
Both City libraries will also be hosting free programs for all ages throughout the summer, including magic shows, science programs, video gaming, book talks, and much more. Rivera Library will be closed on Monday, June 19. The Pico Rivera Library and Rivera Library will be closed on Tuesday, July 4.
