Last month, Parks and Recreation Staff opened the doors to all the Community Centers after a two-year closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now open are the indoor basketball gyms at Pico and Rivera Parks, all the indoor restroom facilities, and public counters and lobbies at all park facilities. In-person programming is slowly returning, with a few programs being offered as we head into the Summer months.

The Pico Rivera Senior Center is also open and is no longer requiring reservations for the billiard room or fitness center. The Center’s public counter and lobby are now open to the public. In person meal service through the Southeast Area Social Services Funding Authority remains suspended and is delivery only at this time.

The Parks and Recreation Administration Office remains closed to the public. Face coverings are recommended at all indoor facilities for those who have not been fully vaccinated. Please see chart below for full Recreation Facilities schedule. For additional information, call 562.801.4430.
