On October 25, 2022, the City Council approved a Conditional Use Permit application from Insite Property Group for the development of a warehouse and distribution facility on a 19-acre site located at the southwest corner of Beverly Boulevard and Interstate 605. The 357,903 square-foot warehouse building will include office space and 52 truck docking spaces. There will also be a 2,500 square-foot print shop facility; both facilities include surface parking, landscaping, and other ancillary improvements.
Architectural drawings are currently under review by City staff and development is on pace to begin in 2025, beginning with the construction of a new bridge from Beverly Boulevard. Construction will take approximately two years to complete the new warehouse building and print shop and will create approximately 125 new jobs. The developer is Insite Property Group and the cost to buildout the site is approximately 30 million dollars.
