City
Council Meetings
The City Council meets every second and
fourth Tuesday of the month
at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers. Conducted in an open,
public setting, these are business meetings at which basic
decisions are made, policies are developed and laws are enacted.
There are five Councilmembers, one of whom serves as Mayor
and is the presiding officer of the Council. The meeting agenda
is directed by the City Manager and assembled by the City
Clerk. As a body, Councilmembers are responsible for the operation
of the City government.
